Directory :: Lakes![]() Citizens of landlocked countries are fond of visiting lakes for a quick dip and Zlate Piesky (Golden Sands), located on the North Eastern fringe of the city, is the biggest, has the most facilities and is the most visited. Also popular are Drazdiak, in the southern suburb of Petržalka, and Kuchajda, in eastern Ružinov. The Rusovce Lakes near Čunovo are less accessible but quiter and worth the effort. Either cycle down the Danube path for about half an hour from Petržalka or get the 91 to Čunovo and negotiate your way through the woods (not advised without a map!). Fans of both nudity and modesty will find a lake to suit their needs. Zlate Piesky

Draždiak

A few swanky hotels are springing up... Petržalka Rusovce Lakes
